Returns & Refunds Policy

Digital products

Our ebooks, printable coloring books and activity pages are delivered as digital downloads. Access begins immediately after payment, when your download link is provided.

At checkout, you'll be asked to confirm that you want immediate access to your download and understand that you lose your right to cancel once it begins. Because of this, all sales of digital products are final and non-refundable once payment is complete.

If a file is damaged, won't open or isn't what you ordered, email us at support@shiftmaven.press and we'll send you a working copy.

Printed books

Printed books are made to order, which means your copy is printed after you buy it. All sales are final and returns aren't accepted. Please look over the details on the product page before you order.

Printed editions are sold through our print partner and through other retailers. Your order is handled by whichever store you bought from, and their returns and replacement policy applies.

Damaged or defective copies

If your book arrives damaged in shipping, or has a clear printing or binding defect, contact the store you ordered from within 30 days of the shipping date. You'll usually be asked for a photo showing the problem, and a replacement is printed and sent at no cost once it's verified. You won't need to send the damaged book back.

Email us at support@shiftmaven.press either way. We'd rather know, and if you're getting nowhere, we'll take it up with the printer ourselves.

What counts as a defect

Print on demand has some normal variation. Slight shifts in trim, small differences in ink coverage, and minor color variation from one copy to the next are part of how these books are made, and they aren't defects. Torn or crushed pages, missing or duplicated pages, bad binding, and printing that's clearly off the page are.
